Our Terms of Business

  1. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.
  2. VAT will be levied at the standard rate prevailing at the time of invoice.
  3. For credit account customers component prices quoted are subject to
    5% discount for settlement received within 14 days from the date of invoice otherwise strictly net 30 days after the month of invoice.
  4. Any Part tooling charges are net and will be invoiced for immediate
    settlement following your approval of prototypes and prior to the manufacture of any bulk deliveries.
  5. Carriage within the mainland of Great Britain only is free of charge for
    all consignments of goods exceeding £500 net value. For smaller consignments carriage and packing will be charged at normal commercial rates.
  6. Dimensions of products, unless specifically confirmed in writing, are
    for ordering reference only.
  7. In the event of delivery shortages no claims will be considered unless Cirencester Plastics is notified within 3 days of delivery.
  8. In the event of delivery damage no claim will be considered unless notification is made within 3 days of delivery to both Cirencester Plastics and the carrier involved. In addition written confirmation and description of the damage must be received by Cirencester Plastics within 14 days of delivery.

Tooling Quotations

When producing tooling we quote either “Part Tooling Charge” or “ Full Tooling Charge”

“Part Tooling Charge” – Title to the tool remains with Cirencester Plastics. It is our property and we remain responsible for maintenance, repair and insurance of the tool. Our “Part Tooling” charges are usually about 60% of what we would charge if the customer insisted upon full ownership of the tool.

“Full Tooling Charge” – Title to the tool belongs to the customer. It is their property.
